Fervor was asked to showcase PING’s nearly 50 years of innovation through a series of displays and printed collateral. It’s been said that Karsten Solheim, the founder, was the father of the modern golf club – he designed such innovations as cavity back irons, heel-toe weighted putters, the first testing device that was engineering to mimic the human swing and custom fitting. We went through decades of files containing old advertisements, patent drawings, photographs and articles, working with PING to consolidate their rich history into small vignettes. Karsten’s importance, and in turn PING’s importance, to the game of golf was monumental and continues to shape the game for years to come.
